Google Analytics – a MUST for Webmasters and their websites

For me, i must say Google Analytics is really a MUST service that should be used especially for webmasters like me who want to track how much traffic their blogs/websites receives daily or what keywords is the most popular that drives the visitors to your sites.

What is Google Analytics by the way?
- Google Analytics (abbreviated GA) is a free service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to a website.

- A traffic stats program from Google. It’s free to post the GA code on a site and this code serves as an alternate to the usual server stats. It’s often more trusted by sellers than stats from other free providers.

- Was previously called as Urchin. A free software from Google that helps you login to get your site details like user paths, sales conversion.

For me, Since i realized the usefulness of Google Analytics for my websites, i try to make it sure that each of my websites has a tracking code installed on it, so i could accurately track the traffic statistics the website receives daily, most browser used when accessing your site, top keywords for your site, Traffic sources, and etc.

Tell you what, you can also link your Google Adsense account to your, Google Analytics account to better track your earnings…

So if you still don’t use the Analytics service from Google…
I should say you better start registering an account now ;-)

Anyways, If you are still bothered or confused, just visit the Google Analytics Product Tour here.
